Our osteopathic approach
Your initial appointment includes a focused case history, specific clinical tests and shared goal setting. Osteopathic mobilisations and manipulations are offered only when clinically indicated and with informed consent. Your plan integrates education, targeted exercises and simple home strategies so that improvements are maintained over time.
We assess the relationships between regions – spine, pelvis, limbs and diaphragm – to identify movement restrictions. Treatment combines low-load structural techniques and soft-tissue methods tailored to your presentation. You will receive practical guidance on breathing, posture, active breaks and guided self-care (stretching, self-release, activation drills) to help you keep progress going outside the clinic.
Indications & expected benefits
- Spine
Neck pain, mid-back pain, low back pain, cervicogenic headache.
Benefits: reduced pain and stiffness, improved neck and back motor control, and better tolerance for computer work, driving and daily activities. When helpful, we add direction-specific and stability exercises. - Shoulder • Hip • Knee
Joint restrictions, tendinopathies, return to function after inactivity or overload.
Benefits: recovery of range of motion, better movement quality for everyday tasks (lifting, squatting, stair climbing), improved hip and knee stability, and fewer recurrences through a targeted, sustainable exercise plan.
Sport & Prevention
Goals: improve mobility, enhance movement control, manage training loads and reduce recurrences.
For running and contact sports, we integrate proprioceptive and strength work, with advice on warm-up cool-down and graded progressions of volume and intensity – so you can return to sport safely and confidently, without fear of movement.
